The desire to make a difference in someone’s life is built within each of us. At TRM Ministries we have many opportunities to help you fulfill that desire.   We are starting a new HIGH-IMPACT program like no other volunteer opportunity before it. This simple, fun and hugely rewarding task can be accomplished from the comfort of home, but must be staffed by volunteers that have a real heart for the ministry. We are calling on volunteers, like yourself, to be available just one, two or more hours each week as one of our Donor Ambassadors”. What does this mean? Simply put, we want you to be this organization’s representative by providing a warm and heartfelt “thank you” to recent donors. The conversations are great because there is no solicitation involved. Each call is a quick conversation between two people that have a shared heart for the ministry. That’s it!

Have a heart for Boy Scouts or know someone who does?  We have been blessed with the opportunity to host a Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack within TRM Ministries for the children who are guests at the Hope Center.   This would be a 1 to 1 ½ hour weekly commitment with flexible hours.  All the necessary resources for hosting a troop will be provided.

One of the supportive services the shelter offers to TRM guests is the Clinic, but we need additional volunteer nurses to staff it. Requirements are volunteers must be a Registered Nurse with a current State of Kansas license.

We are looking for volunteers to serve as coaches in the Dare to Dream mentor program.  Dare to Dream provides you the opportunity to walk life with and encourage guests; acting as a listening ear and spurring them on to set and achieve goals.  Mentoring is done in a small group setting and the required training is provided in advance.    Please do not hesitate to contact Volunteer Services at 785.354.1744 with any questions.  We would love to help get you plugged in!
