25 Years of Gratefulness
I wanted to say a few words of thanks to those of you who have faithfully stood with me in this ministry called Rescue. I had no idea when I walked through those old Rescue Mission doors in April 1986 that I would still be here 25 years later. To say the least it has been an incredible experience …
Without a doubt I have met some of the most compassionate people in the world. People like you who have given so generously and often sacrificially. Sheltering thousands of homeless, serving millions of great meals to the hungry and providing the hope of Christ has truly been a dream come true for me.
Some of you have been with me in this ministry for all of these 25 years; some have passed on to their reward, while some of you have recently joined the Rescue Team. To all of you, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for your prayers, thank you for your financial and material contributions, thank you for your time and thank you for your confidence and trust.
We still have a big job ahead of us; times are more difficult than ever for many in our community. However, I know with God’s help combined with your compassion we will continue to make a difference in the lives of many, one person at a time.
With 25 years of humble gratitude, my prayer is that God will abundantly bless you and your loved ones as He has blessed this ministry through people like you.
